    An interesting documentary on the Yola people who inhabited south east Wexford. Their descendents still inhabit the area, though the language as such is no longer spoken except for fragments.

    The Yola were descended from Anglo-Norman soldiers who settled in the area.

    They maintained their language for centuries and also dressed and looked distinctive compared to their neighbours.
