Rory Brainard, age 23, of Chicago formerly of Colstrip
Rory Dean Brainard, 23, passed away unexpectedly. His family is shocked and deeply saddened by his loss.
Rory was born on November 6th 1997 to Kelly and Dean Brainard in Miles City MT. He completed the family making them a family of four. Older sister, Caitlin, knew then she had received the greatest gift; a brother. Their bond and friendship has been so special.
After graduating from Colstrip High School in 2016, Rory attended Perry Technical Institute graduating with an instrumentation degree.
After graduation Rory relocated to Chicago to work at MDK Electric. While working as an instrument technician he was also working on an electrical apprenticeship.
Growing up Rory enjoyed traveling with his family. He could always be found in the water whether it was a pool, river bed, lake, or beach. Camping trips to the mountains are memories he held close. Rory found happiness in music, movies, long boarding, and spending time with family and friends. He was also a lover of all animals, especially his 13 year old childhood dog Rhino.
Anyone who knew Rory, knew that they would always be met with his sarcastic wit, smile, dark humor, and a giant hug. He challenged your thoughts, was a voice for those who needed it and broug
